The Challenge
Aviation Supply Chain connects suppliers and contractors with major UK airports, starting with Heathrow. The client had outgrown their existing platform and needed a new one that would improve the member experience, increase retention and support expansion to airports across the UK and Europe.
The Solution
We designed and developed a members-only dashboard that puts everything a supplier needs in one place.
- Multi-airport architecture: an airport selector in the header lets members switch airports, so the platform is ready to expand without a rebuild.
- Live airport news ticker showing the latest updates for the selected airport.
- Member directory listing companies with their airport experience, pass holder status, AOL status and service categories.
- Opportunities section where members discover upcoming work at the airport.
- Events calendar covering industry summits, expos and networking events.
- Showcase area where featured members present their projects, including video walkthroughs.
- Member conversations and an Ask Us Anything section to keep the community engaged.
- Structured sidebar navigation with an Airport Abbreviations reference and a roadmap of upcoming modules such as a Supply Chain Map, Community Q&A and Urgent Support Requests.
The Result
The platform gives members a single, professional dashboard to find opportunities, connect with other suppliers and stay informed about their airport. Its modular, multi-airport structure lets the client roll out new airports and features as the community grows.
