Refund Policy

Overview

At AJ Tech Studio, we are committed to delivering high-quality web development services and digital products. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our services and products purchased through ajtechstudio.com.

Digital Products and Software Licenses

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of software licenses, plugins, and downloadable products are final and non-refundable once the license key has been delivered or the product has been downloaded. However, we may issue a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Defective Product: If the product is materially defective and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate charge.
  • Non-Delivery: If you did not receive your license key or download link within 24 hours of purchase and we are unable to resolve the delivery issue.

Refund requests for digital products must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.

Custom Development Services

Refund terms for custom development projects (WordPress development, PHP applications, e-commerce solutions, etc.) are governed by the individual project agreement or statement of work. In general:

  • Before Work Begins: If you cancel a project before any development work has started, you are eligible for a full refund of any advance payment, minus any non-refundable consultation or planning fees as outlined in your agreement.
  • Work in Progress: If you cancel a project after development has begun, refunds will be prorated based on the work completed. You will be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Completed Projects: Once a project has been delivered and approved by the client, no refunds will be issued.

Free Trial Products

Products or services offered under a free trial are provided at no charge during the trial period. No refund is applicable for free trial products. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to purchase the full version or discontinue use.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address used for the purchase
  • Order number or transaction reference
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, etc.)

Refund Processing

Once your refund request is received and reviewed:

  • We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of your account and revocation of any active licenses.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
